Dog Days
Hot December day - but the dog's got life sorted.
"Look girls, a dog" *chases*
Note in the insert two animals that are not calves. One is the chasee - a border collie cross. The other is a cow recovered from black mastitis and putting on weight. She's got energy to spare for chasing mutts, or galloping madly round the paddock with the calves.
At some stage I'll find and post some of the earlier photos of her. This is the only one of three cows this year that survived black mastitis - the other two went down and had to be shot.
